Deer farming demonstration day on Scottish Venison Day 4 September 2013.
A special Rural Enterprise Demonstration Day from Scottish Land & Estates, supported by the Scottish Venison Partnership and BDFPA, and sponsored by Tornado and McArthur Cyclone, on 4 September 2013 – Scottish Venison Day – in Fife, Scotland.
With a buoyant home market for venison the potential for moving into farmed venison production is clear. If weighing up the options for deer farming, come to this event. There will be plenty of expertise available to allow all questions to be answered and for key issues to be explored.
The event will be opened by Richard Lochhead MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Scottish Affairs and the Environment.
The morning involves a series of presentations, with site visits in the afternoon and a venison barbecue.
